A very enjoyable week helped of course by the sunshine and a smart dinner out and a nice lunch.
Monday and Tuesday found me filming MasterChef in central London, not in the studio but in a cool location. The emphasis being on pop-ups. As always with filming, I can’t say too much but I’m really looking forward to seeing it.
I had a full-on newspaper photo shoot in my kitchen on Wednesday. All about Father’s Day and healthy meals to feed your dad. All meals of course from Showmefit.
Dinner that night was at Scotts in Mayfair. I’ve been very fond of that place for quite a while. Wonderful smart location, buzzing atmosphere and of course, great food. I had sashimi followed by Dover sole with new potatoes and spinach. I’m so healthy these days! Oh, I did have a beer, two glasses of wine and an ice cream. Well, an Affagato. If you don’t know what that is look it up.
Thursday was also exciting. I did a little bit of filming and voiceover for a Channel 4 project. Again, I can’t give too much away but it’s unlike anything I’ve ever done before. In fact, there was a little bit of acting!
Thursday evening, I met up with a couple of pals from a big catering company. They do big sports stadiums and we were in discussion about introducing healthier options. Don’t worry I’m not about to take away everybody’s pie or burger. Just discussing having another option as well.
Friday was easy into the club Home House for lunch with an old mate actually managed to bump into a couple of legendary chefs. Danielle Galmiche and Raymon Blanc. Allez Les Blues.
Saturday and Sunday found me at home in the sunshine. Not quite putting my feet up. I’m doing a lot of exciting work around Showmefit and it’s new website.
