I’ve been filming a new series of Professional MasterChef with Marcus and Monica – great fun and some extraordinary food but very long filming days, so I stay up in London. I managed to get home late Friday night for a piece of cheese, a handful of peanuts and a couple of glasses of red wine.
I did go to theatre at the British Library midweek, to hear a talk about the legacy of Le Gavroche. Michel Roux up on stage with his daughter Emily and hosted by Angela Hartnett. There were a good few hundred people in the theatre and it was fabulous to listen to the history.
But the big news for me is the weather – the sunshine. I love my home and my family, we had the neighbours over and it’s the first time this year we managed to have dinner outside. Enjoy the sunshine!
