A lot of work right now is going into helping a group of hard-working nurses at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester. I’m running group cookery lessons as well as offering one-to-one coaching to improve their health their nutrition, and ultimately help them lose weight. I am thoroughly enjoying every minute of it.
My daughter came down from Leeds and we filmed 10 really quick, healthy recipes that we could put out across Social Media. There was a lot of prep and lots of washing up, but I thoroughly enjoyed working with my Libby. It’s always great fun.
I did manage to have a nice dinner in town at my new favourite place, Maison François. Great food, French classics, not expensive and a nice energy in the restaurant.
I took charge of an absolutely stunning piece of kit, the Somerset Grill. We had friends over at the weekend and we cooked on it for the first time – it is truly wonderful. It’s a woodburning barbecue and you have the ability to control the heat by lifting the grill closer or further from the flame. I can’t wait to get back on there again.
