More Eat Well for Less

It’s no secret I’ve started filming for another series of Eat Well for Less.  It’s such great fun and so informative.  We had 3 families and 3 episodes last year, we’ve got 6 this year.  I can’t wait for you to see it.

There was a lot of sport going on in my life last week, well a fair bit of sport related stuff anyway.  On behalf of the Wooden Spoon society, I attended a function called Scrum Dine with Me.  Six luminaries from the rugby world, cooking a dish each in front of assembled guests at Matsuri Japanese Restaurant in St James’.  Great to see big Phil Vickery and Connor O’Shea, very good to meet Martin Williams and Rob Henderson (who can cook a mean steak let me tell you).

Friday night saw me attending the annual black tie dinner of Tunbridge Wells Rugby Club.  Guest speaker, my mate Andy Goode, top top night, far too much beer and wine consumed and the all table cheese and cracker fight at 11 o’clock was a sight to behold.

On Saturday I was at Spurs.  I am actually a Millwall supporter but I’ve got so many friends at Spurs, it’s becoming a home from home.  Nice afternoon, lovely lunch of lamb and minted broad beans, good chat, good people and another couple of beers.

Sun is shining here on the Kent coast and I am looking forward to having a couple of meals in the garden.

Next week is full but looks like fun, I am planning a trip down the River Thames with my fiancée Anna followed by a lunch at The Goring Hotel.  Now they do have a garden worth spending the afternoon in.

Next weekend sees me at The Ideal Home Show in Glasgow, now there is a city I really like with some of the warmest and funniest people I have ever encountered.  Look out Glasgow, I’m on my way!
