Wow, that was quite the week! In fact, I can honestly say I’ve never had a
week like it.
Monday night saw the transmission of Miracle Meat on Channel 4. There was a
tidal wave of outrage on social media followed by a steady line of
congratulations and the press was fantastic. It was satire – it’s supposed to
be hard-hitting, it’s supposed to shine a light on a serious situation. The
whole week seems to have been dominated by this program. It’s made quite an
impact.
Wednesday I did a really fun photo shoot for a podcast project coming up. I
can’t tell you exactly what it is right now, but I will soon I promise.
Thursday, I was at the Oval watching England against Australia. I had a
great time and I’m slowly becoming a bit of a cricket fan. Managed to spend
time and have a drink with both Stephen Fry and Greg James.
Early Saturday morning I drove my car to the Kent coast and put it on a
train across the Channel. As I write this, I’m sitting with Anna and Sid in
a lovely house in Provence.
