Been in the MasterChef studio most of the week. I have to confess, I know it’s supposed to be a job, but it is just the most fun – I’ve been working with John for 20 years and we literally laugh at each other so much. Great bloke to be around.
I managed a trip to the small theatre at the newly developed Battersea Power Station, which I have to say is incredibly smart. However, I went to see “Come Dine With Me the Musical” – it was fantastic. I really laughed. Had a few beers afterwards and a hot dog around midnight on Chelsea Bridge.
Saturday saw me working with the nurses again at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester and I went from there up to Leeds to have beers and a curry with my daughter Libby. I really enjoy my trip to Leeds. I always meet really friendly people the only downside is the long drive back to Kent the next morning.
