I am loving what is happening to Wallace & Co at the moment.  The food is great, the service is getting slicker and the place is getting busier and busier.  We had a party Tuesday night and it was great fun.  I think I finally left the place at 3 am.

I did two great interviews this week, one for GQ Magazine and one for Men’s Health.  Who would have ever believed that!  GQ would have been hard enough but Men’s Health?  Thank you Weight Watchers.  No-one, especially me, would have ever believed the tubby pud eater could get into Men’s Health.

I was up in Manchester to appear on BBC Breakfast, I like the Media City that’s been built there, very cool and the Holiday Inn there is the best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in.  Executive rooms on the 16th floor and a very well equipped, spotlessly clean little gym.  Well done Holiday Inn.

I seem to be spending a lot of time in Scotland lately.  This week I was in Aberdeenshire filming for the BBC2 Harvest series.  I have to say I am becoming more and more fond of Scotland with every trip, especially now I have discovered stovies.  Not sure what they are?  Have a look, Google.  They are hearty, tasty and filling.  They also don’t look that hard to make.

I am on yet another trip to Italy with my girlfriend next week.  I do so love Italy and my girlfriend for that matter!  Many wines and foods to try, I will let you know how I get on.
