I might as well tell you now that I have got a really fascinating series coming out in the summer. We have been filming with all the big Supermarkets going behind the scenes with their purchasing teams. I have loved every minute of it. I have just been putting the voiceover to the film, I am sure we will discuss it in detail nearer the time.

Down at Gregg’s Bar & Grill in Bermondsey, we had Mat Follas, winner of MasterChef cooking for two days. Needless to say, it went down a storm. His food is wonderful, including the candyfloss. I hope to see Mat back down at Gregg’s and this is definitely something we would like to do more of with other guest chefs and previous MasterChef winners.

It is also all change down at Wallace & Co in Putney. Where an old mate and colleague of John Torode’s has joined me, her name is Annabel and we see eye to eye on what a great café/bar should be. Yep, that’s right I’m sticking a bar in there. My little brother Biffo is also returning in a supervisory role. I have great plans for the place.

Can’t say too much at the moment, it’s all a bit hush hush, but John T and I have been doing some work with Heathrow Airport. I will let you know more as soon as I can.

Highlight of the week was my mate Mark’s wedding. He is an old greengrocer like me and it was made even more special because he was marrying another mate of mine, Jo. Lovely lady, in fact, I introduced them to each other. At the wedding I was awarded the badge of Cupid that Mark hung around my neck. The Ceremony was in a lovely old medieval church near Fawsley Hall, near Daventry. Lovely hotel, fantastic wedding.

The next blog will be a little delayed as I am off on holiday to Oman with my girlfriend. I bet it is really hot!
