I’ve started a really exciting project. I’m working with a group of nurses in Leicester to help them with a little bit of organisation so that food becomes a priority for them rather than something they just grab at.
If I’m successful, they will get much better nutrition, they will save money on their shopping and they will, without doubt, lose weight. We are filming this project and we will put it out across social media.
My son Tom and his girlfriend Georgia have bought a flat together. To celebrate we had a marvellous dinner at a new favourite of mine. I’m there a lot, it’s called Maison François. Absolute French classics in a really fun environment. Check it out.
I also managed to have a lovely lunch with an old mate, at another favourite of mine called Brutto. Brutto is the Italian word for ugly – by this they mean they make no pretence making their food pretty, it is just solid quality Italian food and I’m very fond of it.
Late last week we took off on a family holiday to the Welsh coast, we’ve rented a fabulous property and, as I speak, I’m watching the Sun go down and I’m looking over the beach. Time for a glass of red, I think.
