I’ve just had a wonderful week in Taormina in Sicily, with temperatures as high as 27 degrees, which amazed me for October.
It was actually my first experience of Air BnB.
I thought it was fantastic tbh. To have such a big space. Lounge, bedroom, kitchen and terrace with tables and loungers was fabulous. Who knows what this size suite would have cost in a hotel? Upwards of £1,500 a night I would imagine. This place cost £700 for 4 nights.
It was just a 7 min walk into the centre of town. We lunched out every day and had dinner back at the apartment with food we’d bought that day. Bliss.
