Beginning of this week I was in West Cork. Oh my word, the most beautiful of locations and the warmest and friendliest of people. I love Ireland. I think they have the best hospitality in the world.
Had dinner with an old telly mate, Carla Maria. We went to my new favourite restaurant in Saint James’s, Maison François just has all the classic favourites you would expect from a French restaurant. This night they were celebrating Bastille day, there were people talking about on stilts as well as lots of music. What a great night.
On Friday night at home we hosted two couples who had bid in an auction to have dinner with me at my house, all on behalf of the Charity Zoe‘s Place in Coventry.
I couldn’t be more proud of my mother-in-law Rina or my wife Anna who produced 14 courses of incredible Italian food.
It was a great night, and it raised money for a very special charity.
