Well, I was filming professional MasterChef this week but I did have two events that I’d like to mention.
I had a fabulous lunch at Bentley’s seafood in the West End, off Piccadilly. I hadn’t been there in a long time. In fact, I used to deliver the veg there back in the day and it was fantastic to see Chef Richard Corrigan. We go back 30 years and it was great to be able to share a glass and recount some old stories.
On Friday evening we held an Evening with Gregg Wallace in the beer garden of the Queen’s Head Pub in Sutton Valence, Kent. It was a fundraiser for Five Acre Wood School special needs children. It’s where my little Sid goes to school.
