It was a really busy but wonderful week. I have to admit by the end of it, I was knackered.
We are filming Masterchef at the moment, which I thoroughly enjoy, so everything else I’m doing has to fit in and around it.
I went to the opening of a bar in Brixton owned by my friend, April Jackson. I’ve got a real soft spot for her. She does great food, she’s so passionate about Jamaica and she’s completely charming. Full of warmth and time for people.
On Wednesday, I hosted a dinner at Home House. I love that club. Yes, of course, I’m a member but it’s such a cool place to hang out. We were highlighting the new autumn menu. Squashes, crab, roast beef, trifle what a dinner.
On Thursday I met up with a very clever and passionate guy. My new mate Doctor Chuks Aduku. He is a specialist in Diabetes. Me and the good doctor see eye to eye on the importance of healthy eating.
He’s going to be bringing his expertise to GreggWallace.health and I am really excited about working with him.
Friday, I met a team of brilliant academics at Loughborough University. They have been researching the effect of my approach to weight loss. I’m not allowed to publish the results yet but they are very, very encouraging.
Loughborough are keen for us to work together. Me putting forward my suggestions for a healthier nation and then bringing their expert scientific approach to researching it.
Needless to say, I am chuffed to bits at the opportunity of working with them.
