I’ve spent the last week on the Cunard ship Queen Elizabeth. It’s been one of the best holidays I’ve ever had!
I know it’s not everybody’s cup of tea, and I’m fully aware I’m nearly 60, but I thought it was just glorious.
I had a lovely cabin, and it was so lovely to lay on the lounger watching the waves and listening to the ocean. At night, it was even better incredible sunsets followed by dark skies, full of twinkling stars.
I went to the gym every day, I walked around the deck, getting the fresh air. I ate really good food and I did enjoy a drink every evening.
I did visit Madeira, that I’ve now been to a number of times, but I also had a three night stop in Bermuda which is an absolutely beautiful island but not cheap.
Back home now. Great to see the family start a new series of MasterChef next week honestly can’t stop thinking about the cruise and can’t wait to get back on another one.
