I’m back filming a new series of Masterchef. Do you know this is our 20th year? That is quite remarkable how John Torode has put up with me all this time I will never know.
It’s a joyous place to work. It’s a great team, it’s got a really friendly vibe, and of course you meet great contestants and taste some wonderful food.

I had an absolutely fabulous lunch in Myrtle restaurant Chelsea. Anna Haugh has such a talent, and I love that she brings a sophisticated taste of Ireland to the table.
The bad news was two members of my family got Covid. They’re okay but I moved out of the house. We decided as a family it was the right thing to do and it’s been a little bit lonely, staying in a hotel only a five-minute drive from my house.
